Vocational Adjustment Training
Vocational Adjustment Training is a paid service by the State of Tennessee that provides a variety of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This includes counseling, training, and job placement.
Job/Life Coaching
Job Coaching helps all people prepare for employment. Life Coaching includes helping clients achieve their goals by providing guidance and support in various areas, including goal setting for future plans.
Exploration
Exploration includes working with individuals to identify their likes, skills, and what types of work they are interested in. This program includes meeting with client and other natural supporters to identify possible jobs for the individual. This can result in working in a structured environment or working in community integrated employment.
Discovery
Discovery includes identifying individuals who are seeking employment. Employment could mean working in a structured environment such as in a work site location or working in community integrated employment.
